The Studious Student

I know I haven't been keeping up with those who might actually look here to see what's going on in my life. I've been at work, you all know that. I have been going to classes. You know that too.
This semester I am taking Anatomy & Physiology I, and Business Communications, a speech class. Truly, I am enjoying both. But A&P is hard. And I loved doing the research for my first speech in BC, but alas, my presentation was too involved and over the time limit, so I had to abbreviate. So then in my mind it became too fragmented to express the thoughts that I wanted to get across. I have to say, it is a very interesting class, and my prof is excellent. I didn't expect to be this interested in business culture and communication. On the other hand, my prof in A&P is wild & crazy. I'm not sure he should be a teacher, except that I love the way he continues to be approachable and easy going. I know he cares & is trying to help us understand, but he seems so ADHD, that it is hard to figure out where he is going & how to keep up. Maybe because I am also so very ADHD and need organization and solid structure to build upon, I get a bit frustrated. And frustration is then just another distraction. Seems everyone is having trouble figuring it all out. There was much heated discussion after class last night, after our first lab practical, where everyone felt they did badly, and felt that he did not present the exam well. Just because I am a little ADD, (really there is not an H in my condition), doesn't mean that I don't know that a teacher of anything has to structure his lessons and exams according to each other.
On other notes, I am so happy to be in touch with my Meghan, by text and also if we are ever online at the same time, at Facebook. I love having access to pictures from Ted & Bill. Phil & Christie keep me updated with pics of my little buddies. I have them on my desktop at work too, and change the pics periodically. I haven't seen any of these kids - Meg, Zachary, Alec - since Labor day, and I miss them soo much.
