Cool Staley

This is Staley the Christmas Bear. to be more politically correct, Staley the Holiday Bear. The "Holiday" Tree remains up at our house with Miami Staley presiding at the top. Tomorrow is the Super Bowl and all the Bears garb and superstitions will be observed and in place. GO BEARS!

Injured Reserve

I've fallen off of horses before. Yea, it hurts, but then again so does falling down the stairs, and I've done that plenty too. This time was different. Broken collarbone. Nobody ever told me that every muscle in your body is connected in some way with your collarbone.
Nice that I found a way to do this just before Christmas when all my kids would be here for a week or so. Didn't get to go out & do anything fun.
We did put up a Christmas tree tho. I had sworn I wouldn't do it again, but as the holiday came near, I had to break down & do it. What made it worthwhile was topping the tree with Staley, the Chicago Christmas Bear. I would show you a picture if I could, but I can't, so I won't. At least not now. But I will tell you that he looks fierce, he does. Chandra suggested that we write a Christmas Fight Song to sing merrily. We will look to the January performance of the Bears to inspire us. In the mean time, Staley wears sunglasses to give a more casual, confident and friendly appearance.

Hmmm

If every endeavor by every person in an encounter with another person had the intention of helping and bringing out the very best attributes of the other person, would things be different?

Where have I been?

Wobbling, wobbling. Somewhere between home & work & the barn. Mostly at work. It's not a bad thing tho. I find it challenging much like a jigsaw puzzle. Maybe some people don't like puzzles. I do. So I like my work. I will go now. Just wanted to check in and reactivate this spot if possible. One of these days I'll say something of value to the masses. I know - how 'bout this: I do not think money is the root of all evil. Greed is.
